When we confirm the appointment, we will go over the "how" with you to make sure if fits your needs. To make an appointment, please call the 91st Street location at 212-410-1755. How much notice to I have to give? Can I choose the time? Please provide at least 24 hours notice. We offer this service from 7am to 8pm. For pickup, we ask that you choose a time and allow a margin of 20 minutes to allow for any traffic irregularities. We will try to schedule the time you choose, but if we are unable to fit that time in, we may suggest another time. This will be at least 24 hours in advance. For delivery, we will give you a time your dog leaves us and and estimate of what time we will be at your building. Will you come up to my apartment? In order to offer the service at this cost, the service is "curbside". This allows us to offer the service staffed with one person and without having to park. We will call you 5-10 minutes before arriving to allow time for you to meet the vehicle. Can I use this service for daycare? Yes, you can use this service for daycare, boarding and grooming. Will there be other dogs in the car? Usually not. If the schedule is such that the only way we can meet your desired time is to share a ride, we will let you know that and you can make the decision. If there are two dogs in the car, there will be adequate separation in order to maintain safety. Will my dog be in a cage in the car? If you wish. With small dogs, this is generally safer. If you normally use a carrying bag, we can pick up and/or deliver using the bag. Larger dogs are typically seat belted in. Why do you only offer this to the 91st Street location? The location is convenient by car to all of Manhattan and traffic patterns are usually good at this location. We may introduce the service to our 25th Street location some time in the future. |
